Greetings from my favorite month of the year!
First, I am still recovering from my epic term as the pastry lady at M. Wells Diner in Queens. Secondly, I’ve long since left Reno and moved this operation back to New York, and have been in a few homes making a lot of good edible stuff happen. Now I am here to present you with some menu news: Holiday Pies + Sweets.

Lastly, Did you see the new Food52 Cookbook that came out last week? Well, I got a recipe published within its beautiful binding! honey + fig gets a healthy shoutout, and though it says I still live in Reno and am now just a speck in the sky there, I’m happy to have a tribute in print to the time I spent there, as it was a special period of my life and where this little business began.
